Extracting PT MS installer from archive for main node

To extract the PT MS installer from the archive:Copy the archive with the PT MS installer included in the distribution package to any directory on the server or virtual machine on which you want to install a main PT MS node.

The archive name is ptms.installer.<product version>.tar.gz, for example, ptms.installer.4.6.0.6.tar.gz.

Open the directory with the copied archive.For example:

cd /home/user/ptms-installer

Extract the contents of the copied archive:

tar pxf ptms.installer.<product version>.tar.gz

For example:

tar pxf ptms.installer.4.6.0.6.tar.gz

The PT MS installer is extracted from the archive.
